Vosne Romanee 2001 Domaine Mugneret

There are many members of the Mugneret family making wine in this small celebrated commune which includes the parcels of Richebourg and Romanee-Conti. This elegant and characterful wine gained an Hachete star in 2004.

Hautes Cotes de Nuits Les Roncieres 2001 Patrick Hudelot

Organically produced Pinot Noir, absolutely typical of its terroir. Aged for a year in new oak, this has firm structure and rounding tannins. Essential for roast lamb.

Clos Vougeot 2003 Coquard-Loison-Fleurot

The bottle age is just starting to take good effect on the wine. 2003 was a very hot year so expect baskets of fruit. This will stand up to most meals, but personally a bit of goose would do me nicely!
