Henri Boillot making wine under his fathers name at their Domain in Volnay. Wonderful full bodied Pinot Noir with round but pronounced tannins.
Drinking beautifully now but will age ten years plus.

Savigny Les Beaunes Villages 2002 Domaine Nudant

Savigny as an appellation tends to age slower than som of the other Cote de Beaune reds. After some patience, these firm tannins are softening and a great wine is emerging. Will live for a good 10yrs.

Claudes most celubrious parcel of wines, producing arguably his best red wine. Rustic nose,concentrated fruit with well structured tannins. This is a particulary good wine as I broke my back picking the grapes and then helped vinify the wine.... yes "I made this!!"

A wonderfully strong (as in fort)wine from Pommard, the first stop south of Beane on the Cote d'Or. Lovely mouth-filling fruit with enough acid and good tannin to keep for some time yet.

Ladoix Villages 2004 Domaine Nudant

Jean Rene won the Guide Hachette 'Coup de Coeur' and two stars with the previous vintage of this wine. The 2004 vintage is showing ripe cherry fruit with firm tannin structure. It is drinking now with food but I am sure will open up further over the coming months.
