Saint Bris Sauvignon 2004 Domaine Belle Croix

This is the only Sauvignon in the Burgundy region. They tend to be less steely than the Loire whites. This is a Silver Medal winner in Paris. Rich wild strawberry fruit with a lemon finish.

Jean Durup probably produces the best Petit Chablis available. His Petit vineyards are right next to his Ier Cru Vineyards. Often written off as an appellation, Petit Chablis is ideal for early drinking and offers fantastic value for money!

Chablis Premier Cru "Fourchaumes" 2004 Jean Durup

Durup is a master wine maker, whatever the weather. Wonderful concentration of fruit with a complex mineral finish. Probably my favourite of the Premier Cru Vineyards in Chablis.
Classic un-oaked Chardonnay making this an approachable easy drinking white Burgundy .

Q&A Tips: What temperature to serve white wine at?

If the wine has been in the fridge over night take it out an hour before serving and let it start to come back to room temperature.
